As far as week 3, today we’re here to give you a little preview of the Mayhem that’s kicking off next Monday.
Mayhem Again
The coming week brings continued competitions and events from some familiar projects, but also some new twists and turns to add to the sweet chaos that is May Mayhem.
Everything covered in this article will pertain specifically to May Mayhem week 3, May 20th through May 27th. For events going on right now, refer to last week’s preview below!
Common Ground World
This weekend the nitty gritty grind of fierce competition continues in the ‘Best of the Best’’ competition, but we’ll open the field up one more time in week 3… we’re going back to ‘Everybody’s Welcome’!
This format will work the same as week 1, with reward seats expanded to 2500 winners and 31% additional $GALA added to the prizes! Get in there when the competition starts next Monday to build for your rewards.
Next week will feature yet another 2nd chance sale… this time 100 Arcane Rings will be up for sale! Each of these Epic rings will be available for $120.

Even more Mayhem will be coming to the tables this week!
Last week, we messed up the announcement for Legends Reborn a bit 🫢. Due to a change at the beginning of week 2, five places are eligible to receive rewards in each category of total matches played and total matches won!

What’s Inside?
In this massive reward drop, a total of 39 million $MUSIC will be distributed (currently valued at nearly $3 million!), divided among approximately 221K participating wallets, but you must connect your wallet to a Gala account to access the drop!
Inside the Mystery Box, you’ll find a mysterious amount of $MUSIC, the official token of Gala Music. This token is tradable for any other token offered on GalaSwap, and the fee to swap is only 1 $GALA (which you’ll also find in the Mystery Box)!
You’ll find various amounts of $MUSIC, anywhere from $5 to $100k (1 lucky winner) in these boxes, so it would be wise to check your box as soon as possible!

Next week, Common Ground World will bring the ‘Best of the Best’ competition.
This week will have half the winners of a normal competition, with only 500 places walking away with any $GALA. Even with the reduction in places, this competition will feature a 5% bigger overall prize pool than normal!

This time, the Hot Cocoa Chalet and Mistletoe Arch are getting rebalanced with some all-new utility. We’ll give you more details next week when these buildings are rereleased with a discounted price!

Ok, this isn’t exactly MAYhem-related, but it’s still pretty Mayhem, so we couldn’t pass it up. As explained in the Gala Music Whitepaper, a Listen for Rewards program is part of the “Ecosystem Supporting Actors” allocation for $MUSIC.

Following last week’s launch of $GSWAP, the official token of GalaChain’s official decentralized exchange protocol, we have more exciting GalaSwap news.
Our engineers have completed implementation of $MUSIC, Gala Music’s official token onto the GalaSwap platform, essentially making $MUSIC tradable within the GalaChain ecosystem. While the intentions to add this token were announced with GalaSwap’s V1 launch earlier this year, we did not know how long its implementation would take.
