As part of our commitment to continuous evolution and community support, Gala Games is announcing the official VEXI Trolls NFT Exchange Program. The VEXI Trolls NFTs are no longer available in VEXI Villages gameplay. However, players will retain full ownership of their NFTs, and we are introducing a value-driven exchange to ensure everyone can continue enjoying the game with comparable utility.
Compensation Based on Rarity
Each VEXI Troll NFT has been evaluated internally based on its unique traits and metadata. These NFTs have been categorized into four tiers:
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
Players will receive:
1 exclusive VEXI character, based on their NFT’s rarity
1 exclusive building, matched to the same rarity tier
For those holding ultra-rare NFTs, additional rewards await. The top-tier collectors will receive a bonus VEXI Character, making their game experience even more dynamic.
Meet the New VEXIs
We’re excited to introduce five brand-new characters and one exclusive building:
VEXI Tilly Tinker – The Inventor
VEXI Finnian – The Bard
VEXI Arlo – The Ranger
VEXI Sir Cedric – The Paladin
VEXI Skuldrath – The Lich Lord (Uncommon to Legendary variants)
And the all-new Emberwood Tavern, a premium structure designed to bring strategic advantages and visual flair to your village.
How It Works
Compensation will be distributed directly to wallets holding VEXI Troll NFTs.
No action is needed from the user at this time.
A snapshot of eligible holders has already been taken.
This exchange program ensures continuity and fairness across the ecosystem. As VEXI Villages continues to grow, we remain committed to supporting our players with meaningful gameplay experiences and asset utility.
Stay tuned for more updates and thank you for being part of the Gala community
FAQ:
🔷What are the details behind the distribution decision? Who receives what, and based on which criteria?
Rewards are allocated by a rarity-weighted system. We analyzed each Troll NFT’s trait types and their on-chain frequencies, assigned higher weights to rarer traits, then scored every token. Owners of the highest-scoring (rarest) Trolls receive the top-tier rewards, with descending tiers following the rarity ranking.
🔷How will the new Troll NFTs be used in the game? Are they more powerful, equal, or different from the original Trolls? 1 Exclusive VEXI Character—designed just for this compensation, featuring our new Affinity system so it gets bonus points when placed in its matching building.
1 Exclusive Building—a unique structure you can add to your City Block that pairs perfectly with your new VEXI’s Affinity.
These items offer different strategic value compared to original Trolls: the characters use Affinities to boost event or production outcomes, and the building unlocks new synergy you didn’t have before.
🔷What can players do with their original Troll NFTs now? Will they still have a use or function?
Original Troll NFTs can still be held and traded on Galachain, While they will no longer have functionality within our games, players will have the opportunity to exchange then for other NFTs with similar utility that are compatible with current gameplay.
🔷Is Gala planning to update the artwork or metadata of the original Troll NFT collection, or will it remain “frozen” as is?
No updates are planned – the original Troll NFT collection will remain frozen as is.
🔷If I hold a Troll NFT in an external ETH wallet, how will I receive my compensation?
Compensation will be delivered to the wallet address where the Troll NFT wallet address where the Troll NFT is held. Players will need access to Gala SDK v2, which shall be released in the near future. Gala will share details, timelines and next steps through official channels.
🔷I have a Troll Box — what happens in my case?
Compensation applies only to Troll Collection NFTs that were already claimed from boxes. If you own an unopened Troll Box, please contact Support—they’ll assist you with opening it so you can qualify for rewards.

Improved Onboarding Experience for New Players
We’ve rolled out an updated FTUE (First Time User Experience) in Vexi Villages, designed to help new players get into the game faster. The new flow introduces the three core mechanics essential for progression and: 🏗️ Constructing buildings 🌾 Harvesting resources ⚒️ Crafting items
This is just the first step — the FTUE is iterative, and more refinements are on the way. Our goal is to make onboarding smoother, clearer, and more engaging with each update, so that players can understand the value of the game from day one.
It’s a key step toward growing the player base and preparing for wider adoption.
Ownership system
This system has been in place for some time—today, we’re highlighting it to ensure transparency and reinforce fair play by preventing misuse of NFT transfers during events.
If the player transfers that NFT building to another wallet—whether their own or someone else’s—it becomes inactive in the city where it was placed, as the player no longer owns it. An inactive building no longer generates any event points, and the only available action is to demolish it.
Multi-account fix
We have reinforced the anti-cheat protocol to ensure players cannot use multi accounts to claim extra rewards or use multiple instances with the same account to claim extra rewards, while we continue analyzing how to ensure the events remain fair to all players.
Visual Improvements
A key topic we found in your feedback was the access and clarity of information for city blocks and events. To tackle this we’ve made several visual improvements to the user interface. 1. Event preferences and their respective buildings are now clearly displayed on the event info screen and visitors screen. 2. The buildings’ construction menu has been reworked with simpler icons and a dynamic category that groups all buildings that grant event points for easier recognition during events. 3. Non-visitor NPCs only walk on the outer areas of your blocks, and only preference-containing visitors approach buildings to make them easier to distinguish.
Visits report Another improvement on the city blocks loop is the visit report. Now players can access detailed information in the visitors’ screen regarding the resources produced by each building during the current and previous visits, allowing players to prioritize and manage workers in an informed manner.
City blocks rebalance
A few changes were made to the buildings: 1. All NFT buildings’ event points output now scales with their rarity. 3. All buildings’ inventory size has been greatly increased to reduce online dependency.
