Now, we’ve narrowed it down to 15 artists. It’s time for you to influence who gets a bronze track drop on Gala music!
From February 23, 2023 until March 1, 2023, you can select 3 artists you want to receive a bronze drop on Gala Music. All you have to do is set up an account. This allows you to vote up to 3 times.

New updates allow you to stream any song by any artist, curate collections, and more.
Today, we’re introducing a few updates to Gala Music. This milestone is another exciting step towards Gala Music’s full platform release in 2023. The platform comes with an enhanced user interface and brand-new features.
With today’s update, the Gala Music community will be able to:
Buy drops with a credit card
Listen to songs from their favorite artists
Curate their collections
Watch music videos

Shop drops seamlessly with a credit card
The update allows users to purchase tracks with their credit card. This not only creates ease at checkout but also opens Gala Music’s benefits to wider audiences.
When a user chooses to ‘Place Order’ with a credit card, their track will be held in their treasure chest for 14 days, after which, the user will be able to transfer their track to their wallet.
Listen to the best artists on the blockchain
You’ll now be able to listen to any song from any artist on Gala Music. Our new streaming capability no longer requires you to own a track to listen to the song. This will allow the entire Gala community to listen to and purchase available tracks of the songs they love. Listens from each song will be tracked. The popularity of plays will matter once the full platform launch is live.

Heart tracks and curate collections
You can now like the tracks you love and curate these into a playlist of all the songs you’ve hearted. You’ll also be able to curate collections of tracks you’ve purchased too.
Watch artist music videos
Elevate your experience with music videos. While using the streaming feature, you’ll be able to watch music videos for select tracks that have a video associated with it. Check it out to see your favorite artists in their element.
As we look beyond 2022 into 2023, this is just the beginning. There are so many exciting updates to come and we can’t wait to unleash our new platform to audiences worldwide in 2023.
Gala Music announces surprise Mount Westmore album drop on Gala Music.
As Web3 continues to develop, the new innovations and breakthroughs of today are shaping the future as we watch. When we announced Gala Music in February, we knew we were onto something big, but we didn’t realize how far we’d come in such a short time.
Track Record
Since launch, we’ve been in a steady building phase here at Gala Music. We’ve collaborated with fantastic artists like BT and Snoop Dogg. We’ve spotlighted emerging artists and introduced fresh, new tracks to the community.
We want to ensure greater creative freedom for artists and to provide new, sustainable avenues for revenue. NFT and Music fans get to experience what they love in new ways through shared incentives and experiences. We want both artists and fans to win and to be able to build a better music industry together.
Next Track
Looming on the horizon is one of our biggest releases to date. Mount Westmore drops their new album, Bad MFs, on Gala Music tomorrow at 5:00pm Malta time (8:00am PT) in the Gala Music Store!
This collaboration between Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, E40 and Ice Cube is coming to Gala Music straight out of Death Row Records, continuing our partnership with this legendary label.
We’ve got lots more planned in the months ahead as well, including a partnership with Kings of Leon and continued collaboration with our existing partners and new artists.
The Future of Music
The full release of the Gala Music Platform and Ecosystem are still on track to be rolled out in Q3 of 2022. This summer we will schedule the launch of the Gala Music token, which is an essential part of our Player Node Ecosystem. A full launch of our Ecosystem will also allow Player Node license holders to begin operating their Nodes and supporting the Gala Music network.
Note: Gala Music’s native token has not been minted or distributed yet, nor has the mint schedule been announced. Any contracts or entities claiming a sale of this token is a scam. No official contract is yet available.
Tying Music into Games is another focus of Gala Music. To this end, Crazy Boom is coming soon as well. This game will feature interoperability with Gala Music NFTs and was built from the ground up to accommodate and complement this new world of web3 music.

Jane’s new album, “World of Women” (W.O.W.) drops tomorrow in the Gala Music store.
We here at Gala Music are once again proud to team up with Death Row Records to present the completion of Jane Handcock’s latest album– World of Women (W.O.W.) Last month, Jane made her Gala Music debut as our first featured emerging artist, dropping two NFT tracks as an exclusive sneak peek. Now she’s back for the main event, dropping the 11 remaining tracks from W.O.W.
‘World of Women’
This album puts Jane’s superior songwriting skills and eclectic style into center spotlight. The undeniable beat in the first track pulls you headfirst into the album, and the journey does not disappoint. Jane seamlessly transitions from genre to genre throughout the album, showcasing her masterful hip-hop sensibilities alongside her breathtaking R&B vocals.
The tracks released previously by Jane Handcock– Mad Man’s World and The Price Went Up fit brilliantly into the rest of the album, but don’t even begin to indicate the kind of depth and soul that Jane has used to bring this album to life as a complete work of art.

Everyone here at Gala Music is thrilled to announce the latest addition to our Emerging Artist Discovery Program– October London! Another artist coming to us from Death Row Records, October is releasing his upcoming album directly to Gala Music. He’ll be dropping his album in 3 distinct Sets, with each set containing multiple NFT tracks.
October London Centerstage
October London has come a long way from his early days in South Bend, Indiana. Though from a musical family, he never dreamed of being a singer as a child. Still, the soulful voice inside him could not be contained.
Once his musical journey began, October headed to LA– intent on grinding his way to the top. He hit his stride fast and in 2017 recorded his 2-part debut album Colorblind: Hate and Happiness at lightning speed. Through a partnership with Death Row Records, October would get his foot in the door as a writer and collaborator in the LA music scene.
Throughout his time hustling to get his voice to the world, October has repeatedly shown his mastery of recording and composing. He’s released numerous mixtapes and albums, featured on hit tracks, and even portrayed himself onFox’s late TV show, Empire.
October’s musical talent is incredibly versatile, and he likes to experiment with different genres and styles. This latest album takes him back to a style that was embraced by some of his biggest musical influences.

Emerging Artist Discovery: Listen and Earn
Like all participants in our Emerging Artist Discovery Program, October London’s track NFTs will have listen and earn potential for each eligible stream after the full release of the Gala Music Ecosystem.
These NFT tracks will be pairable with a Music Node, just like other track NFTs within Gala Music. Each time the track is streamed, a large portion of rewards go directly to the artist and smaller portions are rewarded to both the operator of the Node the track is paired with and the owner of the NFT itself.
Fans can also earn rewards for listening to any track released through the Emerging Artist Discovery Program. Every eligible stream will reward the listener from a separate pool funded by established artists in the ecosystem. This creates an environment where established artists not only support new talent, but fans are also rewarded for seeking out and discovering new music.
