TLDR on Valley
If you haven’t been following the Valley Ecosystem, we’ll run through the basics for you. Valley was created by the owners of the Happy Valley Arcade Bar in Beacon, New York. They’ve established a network where players at home and on physical arcade cabinets can compete for real rewards on GalaChain by climbing the leaderboards of great arcade games!
Node operators help facilitate score verification, token distribution and leaderboard tracking. Players, cabinet owners and Node operators all can get $VALLEY every day as rewards!
Valley began their first Node sale recently, and already has 175 Node licenses out there ready to come online very soon! Cabinet sales are starting soon, and the first 500 Node licenses purchased come with an NFT that enables the owner to build a DIY Valley arcade cabinet!
The Fun Starts This Week!
Emissions will begin to Node operators on October 26th, but that’s not all that’s coming this weekend!
Starting on October 31st gamers can climb both a global, all-time leaderboard on each game… as well as a dynamic daily leaderboard. Everyday this leaderboard will distribute rewards to the top performers. No Node, cabinet or subscription required… just get out there and play!
$VALLEY hasn’t fully launched yet, so emissions and rewards will be delivered for now as “Tickets”. Collect these arcade tickets with all your gaming prowess… In January 2025 you’ll be able to exchange them for $VALLEY prizes!
What’s Next for Valley?
Valley has been developing their ecosystem FAST, so we have no doubt that there will be more exciting surprises coming up! They have already announced that their arcade cabinet sales will be launching soon. Guess it’s time to stretch out those joystick muscles 😁.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new limited-time event: Red Mill Skirmish, now live in The Walking Dead: Empires. This thrilling new experience takes place in a location straight out of a recent episode of AMC’s The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol, and it’s only available for a short period. So, grab your gear and prepare to face down walkers in a first-of-its-kind TWDE dungeon gameplay event with special loot and rewards up for grabs!
Red Mill Skirmish introduces a unique “world dungeon” map that allows players to access multiple zones, each with increasing levels of difficulty and rewards. Here’s what you need to know:
Limited-Time Availability: This is the first time the TWDE team has unveiled this type of gameplay. Players can look forward to many more iterations in the future. Make sure to participate while you can to get an idea of what’s in store for the future of The Walking Dead: Empires.
Exclusive Loot and Rewards: Players can collect rare loot and weapons by exploring different sections of the map. The deeper you go, the greater the danger and the higher the rewards!
New Zone Dynamics: The map is divided into four sections with increasing difficulty. At the heart of the Red Mill is the most competitive and dangerous area, offering the best rewards to those who can survive.
Event Details
The Red Mill map is full of enemy spawns that appear more frequently than in standard maps, with no permanently safe locations. There are also lootables that offer above-average yields of resources and items like weapons and ammunition.
Entrances and Exits
The map features 6 entrances and 3 exits, giving players multiple strategic choices based on their skills and objectives.
Zone Rarity
Depending on the entrance zone’s rarity, a version of the Red Mill dungeon appropriate to that rarity will load for players, containing enemies and loot consistent with the zone’s difficulty level. Each player’s Zone rarity is determined by their player level, with greater challenges and rewards for higher level players.

Common: Level 1-30
Uncommon: Level 21-50
Rare: Level 41-60
Epic: Level 61-80
Legendary: Level 81-100
Ancient: Level 91-100
Special Event Mechanics
During the event, players can collect special Event Itemsby defeating enemies or finding containers within the Red Mill Skirmish. The more Event Items a player collects, the more Event Points they earn. These points are calculated and displayed when players successfully exit the zone.

Red Mill Skirmish is just the beginning. This is the first of many planned events, and the team is already hard at work on new challenges and variations that will bring iconic TWD situations and settings into The Walking Dead: Empires. So get ready to see more familiar locations, enemies, and of course, more ways to get your hands on rare items and rewards!

It costs just 1 $GALA per deposit, and once those Coins are stashed, they’re safe from even the most determined thieves. 🏦
But the fun doesn’t end there—if some mutt manages to swipe your hard-earned loot, you’ll get the chance to strike back and steal even MORE! Timing is everything, though, so watch the Dogs for the Founder Bot for that window to exact your revenge. 🐕💣
