Each previous test build has come with plenty of awesome upgrades and improvements, and if you haven’t spent any quality battle time in the arena, this playtest will be the perfect opportunity. This time, the Beta test will last for at least 1 week!
How to Get in the Game
Just like the last closed Beta test, this round will be open to all Spider Tanks players who own a complete Tank. That means that you’ll either need 1) a complete limited edition Tank, or 2) the combination of any Weapon and any Body, which together make up a complete Tank.

Here’s your tournament recap of this morning’s battles in the Spider Tanks Korea Node Owner Tournament, after the second day of the Preliminary round!
Just like Day 1, two matches ended with 3–0 scores, and one match with a score of 3–1. Clear champion level contenders are emerging as competition heats up. A variety of gameplay strategies were displayed this morning. While some teams engaged in battles of wits, other teams depended more on particular individuals with amazing gaming skills.
irishpark vs TAS
Due to location lag and repeated technical issues from irishpark, there were several rematches in this matchup. The leader of irishpark expressed his intent to withdraw the team from the match due to the network issue of his team member and fortune smiled on TAS, abruptly ending the contest.
Korea S Class vs NeOnSiGn_KOR
This match ended with 3–1 score. Even viewers could feel the tension of the players. In the second set, both teams focused on long-distance weapons, which did not allow either team to score. As both teams continued to play safe during the overtime, it ended up lasting a full two minutes. Then in the third set, Korea S Class changed their strategy and made bold moves, helping the team to victory.
Ha Ko Tank vs K9 Thunder
This game probably was the best matchup of Day 2. Here, individual players’ skills played a more important role than overall team strategy. K9 Thunder focused on being fast and accurate. The sets were so exciting the viewers were on the edge of their seats the entire time. This matchup put the spotlight on two star players. Regardless of their team’s victory or defeat, David_Action and Cora were always behind the best scenes. During the after-game interview, David_Action expressed how much he enjoyed playing Spider Tanks. He showed that “only those who have fun can win.”
After Day 2, three more teams can breathe easy as they happily advance to the Quarterfinals, but the other three teams met a bitter end to their short Spider Tanks tournament journey.

The two winning teams of today’s battles will receive tickets to Into the Galaverse, where they will join the Gala Games team and community LIVE in Las Vegas on December 11th and 12th. There, they will compete along with the two winning teams from the Spider Tanks World Cup — Seoul 2021 on the Spider Tanks Galaverse World Stage!
These players will get a truly incredible esports experience in which they’ll compete for amazing prizes and give spectators a glimpse of what’s to come for Spider Tanks, the world’s first blockchain esport!

Following last week’s US Node Owner tournament, the Korea Node Owner Tournament has officially kicked off as of this morning, Nov. 22. The preliminary rounds will last for five days until the 26th, and the two finalists will win tickets to -into the galaverse, where they will compete LIVE on the incredible Spider Tanks Galaverse World Stage along with the 2 finalists from the US node owner tournament, Smooth Hiro and Second String Spiders.
Day 1
SPIDERMAN vs AK
Most of the players chose AK as the strongest team, and it was no wonder as they showed off strong firepower and great teamwork. It was a rather one-sided game, AK shutting out Spiderman 3–0. Their gameplay made other teams nervous, and after the game, AK’s leader, Seymar, showed confidence by saying that his team has lots of additional strategies up their sleeves.
KoreaT1 vs SoKoMo
Although the match ended 3–0, the game was very tight. qhrtj1234 of KoreaT1 recorded the best score, breaking his own record several times and steering his team to victory. As the members of KoreaT1 are real-life friends, it was obvious they had the advantage of ironclad teamwork. With a traditional combination of tankers and healers, their gameplay was a classic example of effective Spider Tanks, earning them a textbook win.
Las vs GOST
The last game of Day 1 was the most exciting as well as the closest. The winner was Las with the overall score of 3–1, but two of three wins were from-behind victories. Out of three matchups, their first game was the only one to go into overtime. This matchup was simply unpredictable until the end, making people go crazy about the game. It was a chance for other teams to learn how strong Las was.
All ten games were played in Deathmatch Mode, showing that the Deathmatch Mode was unanimously the most popular among all players.
Viewers shared all the excitement and tension via YouTube. The games finished close to midnight (KST), and three winners are now advancing to the quarterfinals.

Nearly 4 months after the hit inaugural series of VOX, Gala Labs has announced the next series, based on Gala Games’ upcoming MMORPG, Mirandus. With legit fantasy appeal and a completely new set of randomized traits and characteristics, these VOX will give new meaning to the phrase epic drop.
This series will contain all sorts of magical creatures from the realm of Mirandus. Magical elves, rogue halflings, fierce orcs, stalwart dwarves and even some surprise creatures from the Mirandus bestiary will emerge from the mysterious VOX boxes on revealing day!
December 6th 2021
Monday, December 6th is the big day for the Mirandus VOX drop, which will go differently than August’s Town Star VOX drop in several ways.
Difference #1 — Available in the Gala Games store
Instead of being sold through the CollectVOX website, these VOX Boxes will be purchasable directly from the Gala Games store. Selling VOX in the Gala Games store means no crazy gas war for the community.
VOX Boxes will be sold as ERC-1155 “tickets.” When it’s time for the VOX reveal at a later date, owners of these tickets will have the option to mint their VOX. This means that the owner will be responsible for 2 separate rounds of network fees: 1 when the Box is purchased, and another when the VOX is minted and revealed.
If you’re new to Gala Games, you’ll need to have an account, as well as some GALA (for purchasing) and some ETH (for network fees). Learn how to create a Gala Games account HERE.
Difference #2 — First 888 are for Gala Gold & Node Operators
The first 888 VOX Boxes are reserved ONLY for members of the Gala Gold community. We know, membership in this exclusive club just gets better and better. Not only are members getting the first crack at Mirandus VOX Boxes, but they get all the first sneak peeks and leaks over the coming weeks!
Gala Founder’s Node operators who have not yet purchased Gala Gold membership will also be included in the initial 888 whitelist sale.
After the 888 Gala Gold VOX Boxes are gone, it will be a VOX free-for-all until the total supply has sold.
Difference #3 — The HUGE Launch Party
Leading up to the big first drop, join us LIVE to bask in the excitement and FOMO. There will be giveaways, special announcements and more! It’ll be like the old days of waiting in line, except the line is a non-stop party and no one will get mad at you for being there with no pants on.
In addition to the differences from the inaugural series, there are also some important sames.
Same #1 — Every VOX is Unique
Just like the inaugural series of Town Star VOX, every Mirandus VOX is 100% unique, with provably random traits. This time, the VOX artists at Gala Labs have put together a distinctly Mirandus set of characteristics to ensure that medieval fantasy style that you crave!
Same #2 — Total Supply of 8888
In accordance with our favorite sequence of numbers (learn why HERE), 8888 total Mirandus VOX will be created. A portion will be set aside for those who received early VOX Boxes from the previous drop, then 888 will be made available to Gala Gold (and Founder’s Node operators), followed by the primary sale of the remaining 8888.
Wondering about how VOX are generated in a provably random way? Powering up technical mode… Embedded in the VOX contract is a Provenance hash, an SHA-256 calculated from all VOX metadata, models, and images in sequential order. You can use this to prove that your VOX hasn’t been rearranged or manipulated in any way during the pre-reveal period. When the “reveal” occurs, a random number is generated using Chainlink VRF (https://chain.link/solutions/chainlink-vrf). This number is used as an offset to determine the actual VOX you get!
Same #3 — In-Game Utility
Mirandus VOX will have in-game utility in Mirandus, but the specific details of this utility have not yet been revealed to the community. They will not have utility in Town Star. Keep an eye out in Discord for news (and leaks) about Mirandus utility over the coming weeks.
