Get Plucked, the debut mobile game from the cluck-tastic VOX team, has officially taken flight on both iOS and Android! If you haven’t joined the peck-tacular fun yet, now’s your clucking chance! Dodge cars, cacti, and other obstacles to wing your way up the leaderboard and vie for weekly prizes.
The Roost of Giving
The egg-stravaganza behind Get Plucked has a dual purpose: to serve as a testing bed for VOXverse assets and to reward egg-stremely loyal VOX owners.
That’s why we’re kicking off a special competition for VOX Owners on Wednesday, November 22nd 2023 at 10 AM PT.
You’ll have exactly one week to peck out your place on the leaderboard. The top players (200 VOX Owners and 3 free-to-play players that don’t own a VOX) will share a prize pool worth $5,000 in $GALA.
And because we egg-specially adore all of you, we’re cracking open another contest starting Wednesday, November 29th, for an additional $5,000 in $GALA.
Download the game and read the official rules here
To qualify for weekly contests, login using your Gala account linked with a web3 wallet. Strut your stuff, and you’ll start leveling up and unlocking eggs faster than a chicken crossing the road.
Eggs and Feathers
Every time you play a game, you’ll earn experience, no matter how swiftly your virtual wings are clipped. Each level-up gives you the egg-squisite opportunity to hatch a new egg. The chick that emerges leaves behind a clutch of Feathers for you.
Feathers are the in-game currency of Get Plucked. Use your Feathers to purchase new Chickens that you’ll be able to play with. Coming soon, different Chickens will have eggstra special power-ups to give you more of an egg-vantage, so you’ll want to collect as many different types of Chickens as possible.
Here’s the peck-down of the inaugural Chickens you can unlock:
Common (400 Feathers)
Baron Beaksworth Caesar Eggustus Feathery Fists Henarchy Chicken of the Well Jason Voorhens Billy the Chicken Gobbleface
Uncommon (3,000 Feathers)
Hen in Black Hendiana Jones Clucky The Nugmare

Barbie Henicent Egg Sagi Tsukino Cluckula
Epic (60,000 Feathers)

The Chickens purchased with Feathers in Get Plucked are more than just digital delights — they’ll help gather resources in VOXverse. Keep an eye out for more unlockable Chickens coming soon.
But wait, there’s an eggstra surprise nesting on the Get Plucked roadmap that’s yet to be unveiled. Keep your wings flapping in the game and roost in our Discord for the freshest updates from the chicken coop! DISCORD
Tineva is arriving through The Summoning Portal, and she’ll be here just in time for this weekend’s Tournament.
Tineva lay on the dusty ground trying to control her breath. She was bleeding out… she knew that. It would only happen faster if she couldn’t get her lungs to obey orders.
She tried to focus on a single spot on the gravel-covered floor of the plateau. The pain in her side was blinding. If only she could concentrate…
Staring at a single pebble, she watched a crimson puddle spread and overwhelm it. Curious… she wasn’t quite sure if that was her blood or if it previously belonged to any of the dozens of Malum’s soldiers. As she watched, the oozing red pool overtook the rock in its creeping flood. Soon, the rock was gone. Just as, Tineva imagined, she soon would be.
Having regained her focus and and wrestled back control of her body from her screaming nerves, Tineva rose to a seated position. Shooting pain. “Not yet.” She said to herself, gritting her teeth and steadying her breath against the overwhelming sensation.
Starting her breathing exercises, she surveyed the plateau. She saw at least 40 of Malum’s troops lying dead or dying around her. She became aware of dozens of painful wails around her…in her own pain, she hadn’t even noticed.
No reinforcements yet. Where were they? She’d have to do it on her own.
She tried to stand, but found that her legs would not hold her weight. After several stumbles and more shooting pain, Tineva laid back down on the dirt. Prone, she began dragging herself to the west side of the mountaintop. There, several large boulders towered over the vista. She did her best to focus on those rather than the streaking blood she left behind as she crawled to her goal.
Boom boom boom. The ground was shaking. She could feel it through her whole body… it made the stab wound in her side burn with pain and her vision blurred with each THUMP. An army on the march. She didn’t have long.
Halfway across the clearing now, but she was getting faint. The thumping was getting closer… coming up the pass on the south. She wouldn’t get there in time.
Suddenly, Tineva heard a roar overhead. The cavalry!? Three dragons streaked onto the plateau at full speed… just as the first soldiers poured out of the pass. The dragons landed in between Tineva and them. She was so close… just a little further.
The dragonriders dismounted and both they and their wyrms got to work. They paid no attention to Tineva — no time. They were giving everything they had to keep the enemy away so she could finish the mission.
Just a few more clawlengths and she’d be there! She heard a piercing scream behind her… Darius had fallen. A pained roar afterwards let her know that his mount had joined him. They weren’t going to be able to hold them off long enough.
Tineva stopped and began her breathing exercises again. They needed her help. She stared into the bloody mud building up underneath her, gathering her strength. As her focus grew, the pain faded again and she let only her breath occupy her mind.
Suddenly a great flash shot out from her nearly broken body. It engulfed the warriors protecting her, who felt reinvigorated. Their swords went into a frenzy, renewed by Tineva’s magic. She herself felt a burst of energy. She could do this.
One more scream behind her. Not long now, but she was already at the rocks! She forced herself to scale the one she was after. There, in a nook between two boulders was the device!
She glanced over her shoulder. Carmella met her eyes, now standing alone against the oncoming forces. They silently nodded at each other before Carmella and her Lifedrinker surged forward, pushing Malum’s troops back into the pass.
Tineva grabbed the handle on the awkward wooden device and pushed down with all her might. A mighty explosion rang out from all around her, and she looked back just in time to see a landslide cover the southern entrance to the peak… both Carmella and Malum’s forces were buried underneath.
Tineva rolled off the rock and slumped to the ground, making no effort to hold back the pain as the blood still gushed from her side.
She lay staring at the sky. Victory. No attempts to control her breathing now… she panted and wheezed as each breath came harder and harder. She was starting to get cold.
The sound of a sudden laugh surprised Tineva. At first she thought someone was still alive in the carnage… but the laugh was coming from her own throat. As the adrenaline left her body, the feeling was irresistible and her bellowing laughter rang out from the mountain top. One dying woman, laughing like she was mad, laying amongst countless dead enemies.
Tineva walked out of The Summoning Portal still laughing.
Red Tournament Champion: Tineva
The days of the tournament field were Tineva’s most treasured moments, but war has a way of taking those things from someone. From years of leading disparate pockets of resistance, Tineva became a hardened general, but never forgot her time in the arena.
Tineva is a master of the Uproar. Her ability to lead her troops is beyond compare, and her rallying cry will inspire all allies who hear it to use their Abilities much more effectively and cause more devastation the te enemies that stand in their way.
Tineva will arrive on Thursday, November 23th in time for the next Tournament! Are you ready?
Tournament Champions at the Ready!
As usual with a new Hero, Tineva will have a 10x modifier to all Tournament and Dragon Strike damage that will scale down gradually to a 5x modifier for the Legendary version.
The Rare Tineva will have a 5x modifier for all Tournament and Dragon Strike damage that will scale down gradually to a 2x modifier, where it will eventually remain permanently.
Like other Heroes before, Tineva is available all week as a possible bonus summon and will enter the permanent summoning pool.
Tineva will be a great help in this weekend’s Yellow Tournament. Don’t miss out on this new hero!
Coming up next week is a Purple Dragon Strike… What hero will be unveiled then?
Eternal Paradox launches on December 5th with its first 49 day season, and the discounted Mercenary Tome presale begins tomorrow, 11/23 at 3pm PT
The destiny of the continent is at hand, and in only a matter of weeks, the Eternal Paradox begins. The brothers, locked in battle, have awakened the Ring of Ruin, calling forth powerful magic from the beyond.
Only the chosen few can recall the events which led to this apex in time and space and the relentless struggle that would then ensue. Cruel fate has ordained that twin brothers Karls and Shakram must lock horns in a cosmic tangle of violence, in a place outside of time.
It was not their brotherhood that betrayed them, but power and pride on one side, and unforgiveness on the other. Divided loyalties led to divided hearts. The Ring of Ruin does not choose sides; it simply is as it does. As the Mercenaries are gathered together under a new generation of leadership and called by King Karls’ word, there is always something to learn from struggle, cycle and story.
In our world, time marches on, but the Eternal Paradox remains.
The teams at Gala Games and NDream Studios are pleased to announce a December 5th launch date for Eternal Paradox, a first-of-its-kind mobile gaming experience that combines 4X, RPG and web3 ownership in an explosive seasonal masterpiece.
As announced in this blog, tomorrow begins a limited supply sale for first-generation Mercenary Tomes.
Each of these Tomes contains enough magic to summon a single Mercenary who will serve you faithfully within the game until transferred to another player.
Players who choose not to own Mercenaries will also have access to play with them in-game, but only owned Mercenaries will enjoy Immortal Stats, meaning that levels and abilities will not reset from season to season.
Pricing and Supply
Until the launch (but only while supplies last) purchasers of Mercenary Tomes will enjoy a massive 30% discount.

Scuttle on over for another ST Showcase with the hard-shelled body you all know and love.
Welcome to another exciting edition of the Spider Tanks Showcase! In this week’s episode, we’re taking a closer look at the first Generation 2 Body to grace the arena with its presence. That’s right, today we’re all about The Crab!
Crab is a medium-sized body with extra Armor and balanced Speed and Energy. While other middleweights like Hurricane or Junker have their own niches as balanced death machines, Crab cranks up the Armor just enough so that it can put up with some punishment without slogging around the arena like a Titan.
Boomsticks: Crab/Shotgun
The Crab Body’s extra Armor makes it a perfect choice for players who like to get up close and personal with the Shotgun. This combination is all about dealing devastating damage at close range.
With the shotgun’s wide spread, you’ll be able to hit multiple enemies at once, and the extra Armor on the Crab Body ensures that you can take a hit or two while you close the distance.
Crab’s balanced Speed and Energy let you quickly maneuver around the battlefield and take down your opponents before they even know what hit them. If they do catch you and give chase, the Shotgun is perfect for gunning on the run. As you shoot at your pursuer, they’ll be walking straight into even more of your Shotgun blasts if they dare follow you too far!
Nuclear Torpedo: Crab/Railgun
The railgun is a powerful weapon that’s perfect for taking out enemies from a distance. When paired with the Crab Body, you have a deadly combination that can wreak havoc on the battlefield.
Crab‘s general thickness ensures that you can take a hit or two while you line up your shots, and the Railgun’s long range means that you can pick off enemies from afar. With the Crab Body’s balanced Speed and Energy, you’ll be able to quickly reposition yourself and take advantage of your enemies’ weak spots.
Railgun is an all or nothing Weapon… there’s no points for getting close to an enemy. A Crab gives you the flexibility to concentrate on your quarry rather than just worrying about some stray laser blast knocking you out in one hit.
Front Line Medic: Crab/Repair Gun
The Repair Gun is a great support Weapon that’s perfect for players who like to help out their team. When paired with the Crab Body, you have a combination that can keep your team in the fight for a lot longer.
The Crab Body’s extra chonk ensures that you can take a pummeling while you provide cover fire with your Repair Gun. Thanks to the Crab Body’s balanced speed and energy, you’ll be able to keep up with your team and provide support where it’s needed most.
This combination may not be the most offensive, but it can be an amazing build for players who want to be a valuable asset to their team while still staying a little tough. With the versatility of Crab, your toughness is further enhanced by the fact that you just don’t have to get hit as often as the front line Tanks. Stay alive and keep your team alive.
Crab Power
The Crab Body is a versatile choice that can be a real game-changer in the arena. While it’s not without its weaknesses, in the hands of the right Pilot, it can be a force to be reckoned with.
Just like with any Tank Body, there are countless ways to play the Crab. Mix and match it with different Weapons to find your favorite!
Don’t forget you can play around with all the Bodies and Weapons in the Shooting Range!
We’ll be back in a few weeks to shine a spotlight on Movement Abilities. Have big feelings or thoughts on Relay Drone and Speed Boost? Let us know in the comments or shout at us @Spider_Tanks!
PS!!!
The Wallpaper contest vote just ended, did you see the results?!?
Congratulations to Spike!
Be on the look out for lots more cool stuff.
We even hear that GiveawayBot3000v3.crVMtSlRpDyfNAW has delivered some goodies, but we haven’t figured out where yet… maybe one of you brave Pilots can find it!
Capture the Hill! Today is all about the classic game mode that definitely is more complicated than most realize — King of the Hill!
Welcome back to the Spider Tanks Showcase! Today we’re going to be diving into a classic game mode in the arena where two teams square off in the ultimate turf war.
That’s right, today is all about King of the Hill. The idea of this game mode seems pretty basic — control that circle. There is often a little more to it than that, however, and there is a wide array of strategies that Pilots employ successfully in battle.
King of the Hill Summarized
TLDR⬇️: Control the point by getting in its radius. Don’t let the enemy in. Blow up all who oppose you!
If you’re interested in a more technical description of how the rules work for King of the Hill, check it out below. If you feel caught up on the fundamentals, read on!
Whoever can possess the Control Point in a King of the Hill match will continuously receive points from it every second until the other team takes control. This scoring is interrupted, however, if an enemy is in the Control Point’s radius.
An enemy team will move control of the point towards themselves when they are in the radius. Two Tanks in the radius will have more effect than one, but adding a third does not increase how fast you can take control.
If an enemy Tank is not in the Control Point’s radius, control will rapidly move back to the team currently in control. This can be accelerated by a friendly Tank entering the radius. If no one is controlling the point it will not move after leaving the circle unless prompted by an enemy Tank.
Offense Vs Defense
One of the biggest keys to successful strategy on King of the Hill is a Pilot’s ability to adapt to the challenges at hand. What may be successful while the point is firmly in your control probably won’t work when you’re trying to take it back from the enemy.
Offense
While you’re trying to regain control of the Command Point from the enemy team, the difference between a winning and losing strategy is often down to the timing. If you’re not in control of the pace of combat, then the enemy is. If they are in control of the pace and the positioning then it will be a long match for you.
When your team attacks the point, you need to overwhelm the defending team and ruin any defensive plans they have. This means tactics like scattering healers and artillery, focusing fire on vulnerable targets, or approaching from different directions to thin out their fire.
Not every team is perfectly practiced and coordinated with each other, but it doesn’t take much to get used to what your teammates are likely going to do after one or two assaults. Attacking together is often the most important thing to remember on offense in King of the Hill.
Defense
On defense, your job is in some ways the same but very different. While defending, you necessarily control the positioning advantage. Every Control Point out there has arena features and obstructions around it that make for defensible choke points. Use these.
Think about how the enemy is likely to approach you and how you respond. As we said above, they’ll be looking for ways to confound your defenses. Think about multiple scenarios. Are you going to run to the south to provide covering fire unless that Flamethrower is close by, or are you going to bait that flame in and throw a grenade behind the pillar?
Your battle is also about timing on defense. Even if you or your teammates are destroyed, as long as you can successfully slow the enemy down until reinforcements arrive you’ll keep the point. Find ways to dull enemy attacks from one side or to separate opponents. Chase them away from their objective… or make them chase you. It’s not about kills, it’s about keeping that point.
Knowing Your Role
What makes King of the Hill so distinct from other game modes is that it’s nearly impossible for one person having a really good match to effectively carry their team. On the other hand, it’s a game mode where someone can easily be incredibly effective without super high damage… or even really good aim!
The Duelist
If you have single target damage dominance, single out one defender or attacker. If you can harass them enough you’ll distract them from their plan even if you don’t kill them. This will work particularly well for straightforward, linear Weapons such as Triple Threat or Cannon.
Be relentless and hound your targets. Keep them occupied so your other team members can do their jobs.
The Gnat
Even if you don’t think you can take any of the other team one on one, that’s ok. It’s not about kills. It’s about winning.
If you position correctly and use Abilities wisely, you can be so annoying that you may get multiple enemies trying to gang up on you. This creates essential openings for your allies.
The Behemoth
You are the vanguard. You’re heading for the point. This one may not go so well for your kill/death ratio, but that’s ok. Your job is to stay alive and contest the point, whether that’s by dodging or sheer force of bulk.
On offense this will mean aggressively attacking the Control Point, on defense it’ll often mean interrupting when the enemy tries to.
The Rear Guard
You help your team by staying out of trouble. Whether you’re a Brambler hurling thorns at the enemy or a healer providing much needed relief, you do your best work when you’re not under threat.
You not being threatened by an enemy means that at least one of your team is being threatened by more than one, so make it worth it and act as a force multiplier.
Keep Watching the Point
Regardless of what role you fit into when the shooting starts, remember the point is… well, the point. You’re trying to get the enemy away from it so you can control it. Don’t get so caught up in fighting that you miss opportunities to snag control of the game!
Arena battles are a team sport, and that’s especially true in King of the Hill. Hopefully with the knowledge you’re now armed with, you can always be an asset to your team… whether it’s two strangers from the queue or your highly disciplined tournament team.
Keep your eyes on that prize and don’t get exploded too often.
Good luck out there Pilots! We’ll be back next week with a spotlight on Shrouded Shrine. Have tips or tactics on this tightly packed arena in the jungle? Make sure to shoot them to @Spider_Tanks on X, and you may even get featured in your next Spider Tanks Showcase!
