Mayhem rises like a tide across the whole of the galaverse, bringing the fun to every nook and cranny!
Week 3 is in full swing until next Monday, but we’re here to give you a little taste of what’s coming in week 4!
Common Ground World
Get ready for even more Mayhem than before in Common Ground World. Next week, the Jewelry Set will be the focus, and the first guild competition will begin!
For rewards in next week’s competition, you’ll need to work as a team. The format is “Better Together”, and in it every guild members’ Stars will be added up to get a final Guide Score!
A total of 50 guilds will receive rewards, and their rewards will be distributed evenly between all guild members. The first place guild will grab up 240k $GALA!
Of course, we’ve definitely got some new NFT revamps for you coming up next week too!
This week, it’s the Masterful Distillery and the Monumental Snowman’s turn! These two NFTs are getting expanded abilities and extra effectiveness. Expect to see a nice new discount on them in the store coming on Monday as well!
We’ve left a BIG second chance sale for last in May Mayhem. On May 28th, you’ll have a chance to grab the 100 Crystal Sanctums not sold in the original sale!
Legends Reborn
Next week is the final week of Mayhem, and Legends Reborn knows how to make it climactic.
Expect to see the same kind of competition as the last three weeks from Legends Reborn, except this time each player in the top 10 of Matches Played and Matches Won will receive rewards!
There’s $2000 of $GALA up for grabs. $100 will be rewarded to each player who manages to climb to the top 10 at the end of the week.
You still have time to rack up the wins you need to get your hands on the three free Mayhem NFTs!

As far as week 3, today we’re here to give you a little preview of the Mayhem that’s kicking off next Monday.
Mayhem Again
The coming week brings continued competitions and events from some familiar projects, but also some new twists and turns to add to the sweet chaos that is May Mayhem.
Everything covered in this article will pertain specifically to May Mayhem week 3, May 20th through May 27th. For events going on right now, refer to last week’s preview below!
Common Ground World
This weekend the nitty gritty grind of fierce competition continues in the ‘Best of the Best’’ competition, but we’ll open the field up one more time in week 3… we’re going back to ‘Everybody’s Welcome’!
This format will work the same as week 1, with reward seats expanded to 2500 winners and 31% additional $GALA added to the prizes! Get in there when the competition starts next Monday to build for your rewards.
Next week will feature yet another 2nd chance sale… this time 100 Arcane Rings will be up for sale! Each of these Epic rings will be available for $120.

Last week, we messed up the announcement for Legends Reborn a bit 🫢. Due to a change at the beginning of week 2, five places are eligible to receive rewards in each category of total matches played and total matches won!

How are you faring in week 1 of Common Ground World Mayhem? Enjoy the “Everybody Is Welcome” competition while it lasts… because we’re mixing it up in week 2.
Next week, Common Ground World will bring the ‘Best of the Best’ competition.
This week will have half the winners of a normal competition, with only 500 places walking away with any $GALA. Even with the reduction in places, this competition will feature a 5% bigger overall prize pool than normal!
Two more NFT reworks are on the way!
This time, the Hot Cocoa Chalet and Mistletoe Arch are getting rebalanced with some all-new utility. We’ll give you more details next week when these buildings are rereleased with a discounted price!
Hatchet Hank Jr. returns!

Ok, this isn’t exactly MAYhem-related, but it’s still pretty Mayhem, so we couldn’t pass it up. As explained in the Gala Music Whitepaper, a Listen for Rewards program is part of the “Ecosystem Supporting Actors” allocation for $MUSIC.
Did you know that you can already listen for rewards!? Go check it out, and you’ll rack up points for each unique track you listen to each day!
Eternal Paradox wrapped up a week of daily coupon codes already, but that doesn’t mean that there’s not more Mayhem on the way!
Today, the Mayhem Pass went live in EPX! This special rewards pass will let you mayhem even harder and collect extra rewards as you complete tasks throughout the month!
A Mayhem Pass can only be acquired via in-app purchase… but like the season pass, players get rewards even if they don’t purchase the pass!
Whether you purchase a Mayhem Pass or not, you’ll also still find extra Mayhem boxes that have been stolen by enemies around the map!

Every year around the same time, we get just a little stir crazy here at Gala. It’s not that the winters at our HQ are necessarily too balmy to go get some sun… it’s just that we’re excited to get down to some fun and games with our awesome community!
Gala has grown a lot, and the launch of extremely diverse projects across GalaChain has taken the Galaverse far beyond just games. This year we want to showcase a month of fun all across the GalaChain ecosystem.
Many projects will have competitions, giveaways and events throughout May. We know that GalaChain is a constantly growing place, so rewards and mechanics of each event are going to vary greatly from project to project. Don’t worry though, we’ll try to keep it as simple as possible so that you can find some events you may love.

We (more expressly, the writer of this article) would love to have a nice and simple cookie-cutter event to throw at all of you. But where’s the fun in that? More importantly… where’s the MAYHEM in that!?

Since its release earlier this year, GalaSwap has totally changed the way that we can all interact with GalaChain as a community. It’s never been easier to get the tokens you want, and more features and new pairs are coming all the time!

VOX
It’s a VOX invasion!!! This week, VOX is spreading Mayhem in Common Ground World!
Win an all-new VOX Dog pet by landing in the top 100 Bicycle sellers in next week’s competition! These fluffy border collies are only going out during May Mayhem, so get them while you can.
If you don’t place high enough, you’ll have a second chance in a special Mystery Box sale at the end of the month… but these furry friends need a home now! Will you rise to the challenge?
Champions Arena
All month long the arena will be full of Mayhem. Various activities in the game will reward you with M-tickets, which you can spend in the special M-Ticket shop. Get as much as you can for four weeks!
There will be a bit more going on for Summoners in Champions Arena throughout May. Look for a special 15% Gem pack discount to kick off the festivities on Monday the 6th!
Non-Fungible Tower Defense
We hear our friends over at NFTD are having a leaderboard competition every week of May. If you haven’t checked their alpha playtest out since their Judges’ Choice win at GALAthon in March… now is the time!
Legends Reborn
You think Tolkheim is going to miss out on May Mayhem!? Get ready for a month of competitions at the tables!
Starting on May 6th at noon PT, rack up as many games as you can at your favorite table… or any table really. Just go play!
Throughout the whole month, players who achieve the following epic benchmarks of table experience will be granted free NFT cards:
50 PvP matches played – Common Glacial Spear
100 PvP matches played – Common Viridian Dragon
150 PvP matches played – Uncommon Phoenix
In addition, during week one starting on May 6th, a special prize of $500 of $GALA will be given out to the player with the most matches played and to the player with the most matches won by the end of the first week. Get your best Creatures in your deck and get ready to battle!
