This update strengthens the technology behind GalaSwap while keeping the core experience familiar. Whether you swap tokens or provide liquidity, V2 marks the next step in the platform’s continued evolution.
For a limited time, we’re waiving the standard 1 GALA transaction fee for swaps and other transactions on GalaSwap, giving you a chance to explore V2 without this network cost. Liquidity pool fees still apply.
Built for a better GalaSwap experience
The V2 upgrade brings improvements to the underlying software powering GalaSwap’s liquidity pools:
- Faster performance to improve how the platform operates.
- Improved APIs for developers and services integrating with GalaSwap.
- Updated pool software that provides a stronger foundation for continued development.
- Quality-of-life improvements that refine the overall experience.
The V2 pools support the same token pairs and fee structures as their V1 counterparts, and users continue to manage their swaps and liquidity positions through their own wallets.

If you use GalaSwap to swap tokens, no migration action is required. Head to GalaSwap, connect your wallet and trade.
Providing liquidity? Move your positions to V2
With V2 now live, liquidity providers with existing V1 positions should move their liquidity to the corresponding V2 pools to continue participating as GalaSwap transitions.
The process involves two steps:
- Remove your liquidity from the V1 pool.
- Create a new position in the corresponding V2 pool.
Positions are not transferred automatically. Standard GalaChain transaction fees apply to these on-chain actions.
You will still be able to withdraw your liquidity from V1 pools after trading ends.
