From November 28th at 19:00 UTC until December 1st at 19:00 UTC, Narrows Landing will be a stage for an intense pursuit. Powerful, elusive creatures will roam the lands, and those who dare to hunt them will find themselves in contention for magnificent rewards.
Dusk of the Broken
This is a challenge of skill, speed, and endurance. To rise in the ranks of the Leaderboard, you must locate and vanquish three specific, aberrant NPCs that have appeared during this strange, fading light: the Stag, the Wisp, and the legendary Golden Bunny.
But a word of warning to the eager hunter: these are creatures of fading magic. Each of these specific targets has been cursed with a single, fragile point of vitality. A single, true strike is all it will take to banish them, making the pursuit a true test of pinpoint accuracy and lightning-fast action.
Secure these mystical apparitions to claim your event points:
- Stag (Rare): A quick target, granting 10 event points.
- Wisp (Epic): An ethereal prize, worth 50 event points.
- Golden Bunny (Legendary): The ultimate quarry, rewarding 500 event points.
Your goal is to gather as many points as possible before the event concludes. Entry is free; all you need is a Gala account and the will to survive the hunt!
The Trinkets of Thylfad
A select few artifacts have emerged, capable of aiding the swift and the clever. The Trinkets of Thylfad—the Bowstring, Arrowhead, Armguard, and the fabled Scribbles—can be found in the 300 available “Dusk of the Broken – Mystery Chest”. These powerful items grant a bonus to your event points and extra movement speed during the event while walking, running and sprinting to assist in your pursuit.
- Thylfad’s Bowstring (Uncommon): 59% chance. Grants a 15% bonus points and +0.25 extra movement speed
- Thylfad’s Arrowhead (Rare): 30% chance. Grants a 25% bonus points and +0.5 extra movement speed
- Thylfad’s Armguard (Epic): 10% chance. Grants a 35% bonus points and +1 extra movement speed
- Thylfad’s Scribbles (Legendary): 1% chance. Grants a 65% bonus points and +1.5 extra movement speed
While not required to join the event, these trinkets can prove the crucial edge in climbing the ranks.
Bounties for the Valiant, and a Token of Gratitude
The spirit of the hunt during the Dusk of the Broken event shall not go unrewarded. The 150 most dedicated denizens of Mirandus will receive a share of a magnificent 128,200 $GALA treasury, a testament to their prowess and commitment in the wilds.
Furthermore, the five adventurers who demonstrate the most exceptional skill and rise to the highest ranks (1-5) in this event will be granted the Viridian Bag Hat (Common). This highly sought-after cosmetic item is being distributed as a special Thanksgiving reward, a cherished symbol of our gratitude to the most active members of our community.
A live-updated Leaderboard will be made public, allowing all to track the progress and fortunes of those participating in the event.
