Thank you for your enormous patience throughout this year, we know just how much each of our Deed Holders have been wanting to play Legacy and we at 22cans have shared your desire to see the game out in the wild since the day we announced our partnership with Gala Games.
As stated on numerous occasions (to the point you must be sick of hearing it), I have always said we will never set a date for anything unless we are absolutely certain that we can meet it, and I am delighted to announce that Gala Games has given us the green light to deliver the Legacy Deed Holder Alpha build into your hands on December 12th, 2022!
The wait is almost over.
We’ve got a ton of content in the build that we are excited to share with you, and I will be dipping into some of that content as we get closer and closer to the day. On top of that, we will be talking to some of the 22cans team about the game and their part in its development, as well as an AMA with Peter Molyneux (Creative Director, Legacy), during which he will answer as many questions as he can.
As we prepare to launch the Deed Holder Alpha build, let me just take this opportunity to remind you what you can expect to see in the game:

This is just a small selection of the buildings and features you will see in the final version of Legacy. I’ll be ramping up the Dev Diaries again once we’re through the Deed Holder Alpha test and sharing details on all the other buildings and features that you’ll see as you progress further into the game — we’d love to show you them all but that would mean we’d have an Alpha that lasted for at least a month and we like holding back on some things because surprises are fun!
