Before we continue, please make sure you’ve signed up for a Gala Music account. If you haven’t done that yet, you may want to simply use your google account to sign up, and familiarize yourself with navigating our website. Once you’ve got that covered, it’s time to connect your Web3 wallet.
Assumption: You have a Gala Music account.
Step 1: Setting Up Metamask Wallet
For this guide, we’ll use Metamask Wallet, a user-friendly option. If you’re new to Metamask Wallet, we recommend checking out their article series to learn more about setting up your wallet.
Once your Metamask Wallet is set up, you’re ready to connect it to your Gala Music account. Find the “Connect Metamask Wallet” option and click on it.

Step 2: Click “Connect”
After clicking the “Connect Metamask Wallet” button, you’ll see a prompt asking you to connect your wallet. Click “Connect” to proceed.

Now, you’ll be asked to sign a transaction. Don’t worry; this is a standard security measure in the Web3 world. Click “Sign.”

Step 4: Congratulations! Wallet Successfully Connected
Once you’ve completed the signature, your wallet is successfully connected to your Gala Music account.

Enabling 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication)
Now that your wallet is connected, we strongly recommend enabling 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) for added security. However, let’s move on to the last step before you get your hands on all of the amazing experiences.
Understanding Transfer Codes
You’ve connected your wallet, but what’s a transfer code, and why do you need it? A transfer code is like a secret key that helps you manage your assets within Gala Music. It’s used to transfer, trade, and interact with digital assets, such as NFTs.
Whenever you want to move assets in and out of Gala Music or perform any action involving your assets, you’ll need this transfer code. Think of it as your digital wallet’s PIN or password, but with added security.
Creating Your Transfer Code
- Log in to your Gala Music account (if you haven’t already)
- Go to the “Settings” section.
- Find the “Transfer Code” option and select it.
- Follow the prompts to create your transfer code.
(Be sure to choose a strong and unique code that you can remember.)
- Now you have your transfer code, an essential tool in managing your digital assets on Gala Music.
