A New NFT Tank
We won’t spill the beans until tomorrow, but get ready for a brand new NFT tank to be added to the Spider Tanks store. Most rarities of the last special tank, the Alpha Chicken Executioner, sold out in a hurry (to say the least), so be ready for a feeding frenzy.
This new special tank will be sold in all 6 rarities (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Ancient). Remember that when you purchase an NFT Spider Tank, it comes with 100% perfect upgrades already built in, giving you a serious advantage over those who upgrade their tanks through leveling alone. An Ancient tank, for example, comes perfectly upgraded to level 30!
Additionally, this special tank will be sold for 1 week only, and only while supplies last. Be ready to take a bite out of this supply while you can.
Spider Tanks P2E
Through the complex and brilliantly designed reward economy of Spider Tanks, players will have the ability to earn for their play. Play-to-earn esports are the future of this industry, and we are beyond excited to be bringing you one of the very first in the world.
As mentioned before in THIS POST, an intricate tank upgrade cycle will allow any player to play for free and grind out upgrades that will increase the scarcity and value of their Spider Tanks. Since all tank parts are owned as NFTs, they can be upgraded, then sold on the secondary market at any time the player chooses.
The upgrade cycle described above is at the core of the Spider Tanks play-to-earn economy, but players (and node operators) can also look forward to a Spider Tanks exclusive blockchain reward token (token name TBD). Additionally, players will be able to own specific arena maps, from which they will earn rewards just for hosting battles. Watch closely for more details about this token and all play-to-earn mechanics as they become available.
