Node Owners: Boost your Node Rewards with eligible $GALA Liquidity Pools + GALA / BENE pool added to eligible pools
You asked for more upside on “working” $GALA, so we’re adding boosts to $GALA held in eligible GalaSwap liquidity pools, on top of counting it in the daily snapshot.
What’s new:
- New eligible pool added
GALA / BENE - Boosts being applied to eligible liquidity pools
- GALA / ETH, BTC, XRP, SOL, USDT, USDC = +50% boost
- GALA / BENE = +100% boost
How it works
- In the daily Node Staking snapshot, we count $GALA held on GalaChain, in your Allowance, and in eligible GalaSwap liquidity pools.
- We then apply the pool boost to the eligible $GALA portion of your liquidity position.
- We total your eligible (and boosted) $GALA and calculate node rewards as usual.
- No changes to the requirement of 1,000,000 GALA per node held on GalaChain to receive maximum rewards.
How to set up a Liquidity Pool on Gala Swap
- Go to GalaSwap and Connect your wallet
- Click ‘Pools’, then ‘New Position’
- Select an eligible Pair
- Set your fee, range and deposit
- Confirm your pool
Don’t have the matching token for your chosen pair? You can bridge tokens into GalaChain or swap on GalaSwap (Remember, only the $GALA portion of your position is counted toward the snapshot).
Head to GalaSwap and be rewarded for putting your $GALA to work.
