The newest update brings the utility tokens from both Gala Music ($MUSIC) and Gala Film ($FILM) into the excitement, giving users of those platforms a chance to get $GALA in the weekly drawing.
Additionally, users can now choose to burn tokens (NFTs or $GALA) from their GalaChain inventory to receive free tickets (or use the other alternative method of entry). More details below 👇
December Prize Infusion
The Gala Games team has announced the addition of 1M $GALA into the prize pot every single day of December. This special prize infusion is in addition to the already growing prize pot that consists of a portion of all burnt $GALA and any prizes that are not won in the previous drawing.
So far, the prize infusion is making up for an incredibly exciting finish for 2024 with $GALA prize drawings that keep getting bigger and better. 👇

Epic Gala Sweepstakes drawing 3 happened yesterday, Wednesday 12/11 at 12pm PT, with a record-breaking amount of $GALA. With 19 more days of December, 19 Million additional $GALA will still enter the prize pot before the end of the year. There’s no telling how high these prizes will go, and it’s only a matter of time before we get some BIG winners.
If you have prior transactions on GalaChain that have caused $GALA to be burned, there’s a good chance you have FREE TICKETS in your account.

Burn $MUSIC or $FILM for Free Tickets
Previously, only $GALA-ecosystem supporting activities (purchases of select Gala Games items, transactional fees, $TREZ tapper activity, or the alternative method of entry) were eligible for free ticket accumulation. Now, the team is inviting anyone who engages in ecosystem supporting activities for $FILM or $MUSIC (which includes a burn) to collect free tickets as well.
Now you have additional options with both $MUSIC and $FILM.
$FILM
When $FILM is spent on the transaction fee required to mint new $FILM from a GalaChain allowance, 100% of that $FILM is burned. You will collect a free Epic Gala Sweepstakes ticket for every 1 $FILM used in this way. When $FILM (GalaChain) is added as a payment option for certain Gala Film purchases, these purchases will also qualify.
$MUSIC
Whenever you spend GalaChain $MUSIC on Gala Music, 100% of that $MUSIC will count toward your free EGS ticket haul. This includes purchases of NFT tracks, experiences, Mystery Boxes and Jukebox Nodes, whenever GalaChain $MUSIC is used. You will collect a free Epic Gala Sweepstakes ticket for every 200 $MUSIC used.
Burn NFTs
Another new way to collect free EGS tickets is taking advantage of the new Burn option for NFTs from your GalaChain inventory.
For every NFT burned, you will receive 1 free EGS ticket 🤩
To Burn an NFT:
- Locate the NFT in your GalaChain inventory when logged into GalaConnect.
- Select Burn from the dropdown menu
- Pay the 1 $GALA Burn fee and confirm with your transfer code
Note that tokens (fungible and nonfungible) must be burned from GalaChain inventory – If held as a GalaChain allowance, tokens will first need to be minted onto GalaChain. If held in your Ethereum inventory, they must first be bridged to GalaChain from Ethereum, then burned.
Direct $GALA Burn (New Feature)
Through your token inventory on GalaConnect, you can now directly burn $GALA. Each $GALA burn of any quantity is subject to the standard 1 $GALA fee, and you will receive a free EGS ticket for every 100 $GALA burned using this feature.

In addition to collecting free EGS tickets from GalaChain transactions and new burning options, anyone can take advantage of the no-purchase-necessary mail-in entry option as described in the Terms and Conditions.
