As we approach the release of our first franchise game, we really wanted a fresh start.
Let’s face it. Over the years, VOX has gained some baggage. As the new VOX team, we wanted to leave that baggage behind so we could stride boldly into the future with this awesome community without focusing on past hangups and challenges.
We started off this year by making a giant list of all the past plans – stuff like ‘VOX have utility in a game’ (simple one there right?).
We also took a look at everything we have sold or given away over the years like Gala Land, VOX Souls and other items. We wanted to make sure we held our end on those future features as much as possible.
It was an odd situation, looking at this list and trying to fit a game around all those constraints and expectations.
How do we make 33k characters playable? 🤔
We sold some land, so there has to be land in the game. 🤔
What’s a soul?…ok we need to get that in there too. 🤔
Usually when you design a game you build out a core loop, then expand on it. In some ways we had to build VOX Villages backwards. How do we get all those creatures to work? What’s the best style of game to show off the VOX Land? The questions go on and on. We needed to solve all these issues before we could really hit the ground running to make an awesome mobile game.
Now we are getting to the ‘fun stuff’ of building and decoration. All that resource collection and crafting is going to pay off! It’s so close we can almost taste it– if you could taste pixels.
As we continued collaborating as a team, it became steadily clearer that we were not VOX anymore, we were becoming something else. We were evolving, developing our own identity, ideas and priorities as a game team and as a franchise.
Hence, VEXI was born.
A new start.
A new vibe.
VEXI is a new beginning that looks forward into 2025 and beyond while still respecting the dreams of the past.
We love these little dudes and ladies, orcs and zombies. We have endless ideas for games involving them. We are also exploring some other VEXI use cases, not just as game characters but to become the faces of Gala as they were truly destined to be.
Already VEXI have shown up in the strangest places around the company, from onboarding to internal documentation and slide decks. It always makes the team smile when we see so many staff members adopting a VEXI and using it as their avatar on Slack and Discord.

Learning to navigate the Gala Music ecosystem can be incredibly rewarding, especially when you know how to leverage the Loyalty Pool system to get early access to NFT releases. Here’s a guide on how to secure your spot in the early access line and maximize your benefits as a Gala Music superfan.
Understanding Early Access Timing
Early Access for Gala Music NFTs begin one hour before the open public sale. If a public sale is scheduled for 1 pm PT, the early access sale opens at 12 pm PT. This one-hour head start can be crucial, especially for the most sought-after NFT releases, which are limited to just 100 copies.
Unless otherwise noted, every Gala Music NFT release includes a one hour early access sale period for Loyalty Pool contributors.
Loyalty Pools: Your Key to Early Access
Early sale access is granted through the Loyalty Pool system. By locking your $MUSIC tokens in support of your favorite artists, you unlock exclusive benefits, including early access to the NFT sale. This system is all about showing your loyalty without losing control of your assets—you’re not spending your $MUSIC; you’re simply holding it in specific support of an artist.

How Contributions Work
Contributing to an artist’s Loyalty Pool is different from tipping. While tipping involves transferring $MUSIC to the artist, contributing to a Loyalty Pool allows you to keep your $MUSIC.
Unlocking Loyalty Pool Levels
There are currently two levels in the Loyalty Pool system that offer benefits:
Level 2: By holding at least 500 $MUSIC in an artist’s pool, you gain exclusive Discord access, early track sale access, and a 5% discount on NFT tracks from that artist.
Level 3: With at least 1000 $MUSIC held, you unlock all Level 2 benefits plus additional perks that are at the artist’s discretion.
Planning Ahead for Early Access
To ensure early access, you need to hold your $MUSIC in an artist’s Loyalty Pool at least 20 hours before the NFT release. The system takes a daily snapshot at 5 pm PT to determine who has access for the next 24 hours. Planning ahead is crucial, especially if you’re eyeing a high-demand release.
Flexibility and Strategic Contributions
One of the best features of the Loyalty Pools is the flexibility they offer. You can add or remove your support for artists at any time. This means if you only have 1,000 $MUSIC, you can strategically reallocate it between different artists’ pools, gaining early access and discounts on various track releases. A little planning goes a long way in ensuring you never miss out on your favorite releases.

Save The World
In Superior, it’s already too late, but through advanced teleportal tech (and with the help of the rebel Bartender robot to guide you), we can travel through time and do our best to stop the takeover at various crucial stages of its progress in the past.
The superheroes got carried away, and now it’s time for a bold group of hero hunters to use their own powers against them.
Basically, they run around killing evil heroes and collecting their Juice. Yep, it’s just as gross as it sounds. Then our Primes (the real heroes) turn themselves into freakish experimentation subjects, loading up on Juice-based enhancements that let them use various powers wielded by the baddies they’re up against.
Killing Baddies & Collecting Powers
As you progress through a mission, you’ll smash and slaughter hundreds of freaks, which will come harder and harder at you as you progress toward the boss hero on your hitlist. As you go, you’ll collect all sorts of power ups that enhance your movement, firepower, abilities and more. Choose from a variety of deadly weapons, or use your melee attacks for a more up close and personal approach.
Collect experience from each mission to upgrade and customize your Skill tree to the needs of the next battle. Then once you’ve reached the max level, upgrade your Infamy to start over with a higher max Skill level, raising the ceiling of your success.
Play with NFT Prime Characters
Here’s the fun part. Get in on Early Access only by owning a Prime character. Currently there are three Prime characters available: Ronin, Nomad and Murmur.
NOTE: Prime Character NFTs must currently be held in your account’s connected Ethereum wallet to appear in the game. If purchased from OpenSea, the item will already be available in your Ethereum wallet, but if purchased on GalaChain, you’ll have to bridge it to Ethereum to use it in the game.

Based on your Prime’s rarity, you’ll start the game with boosted Infamy, which can otherwise take dozens (if not hundreds) of runs to grind out the necessary experience. With each new Infamy level, your character’s max Skill Points are increased by one, giving you access to even more of the Skill Tree and preparing you for more effective Challenge runs!
